Despite the fact that I recently made a big batch of chocolate chip cookies, I decided another rainy day called for additional cookies. My kitchen is PACKED with sweets right now, I have blueberry muffins, choco chip cookies, WMCC bars, butterscotch bars, granola and now Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies. Good thing my roommate eats the cookies by the dozen!

My roommate’s brother and girlfriend are coming to stay for a few days so the week will be very little cooking and whole lot of eating out. Sooo i’m going to be that creepy person who takes pictures in restaurants so you can continue to follow along with my eating adventures! Enjoy the cookies.

¾ cup flour

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon baking soda

¼ teaspoon salt

1 stick butter

¼ cup granulate sugar

½ cup brown sugar

1 egg

½ teaspoon vanilla

1 ½ cup oats

½ cup raisins

¼ cup chocolate chips or more depending on how chocolatey you want ‘em

Preheat oven to 350° F.

Combine flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt. Set aside

Melt butter over low heat. While butter is melting, combine sugars. Pour melted butter over sugars and stir quickly. Add the flour mixture, mix. Add the egg and vanilla, stir until creamy.

Cookie dough – yummy 🙂

Mix in the oats, raisins, and choco chips. Bake at 350 on an ungreased baking sheet for 10 mins. Makes about 30 chewy cookies!

Do you guys bring your baked goods into work or school? Or do you keep them all to yourself?? 🙂
